CNN host Brianna Keilar did not allow Donald Trump’s campaign communications director, Tim Murtaugh, to spew lies during their interview on Tuesday.
Murtaugh first started claiming that the previous administration had left them without tests and tried to blame the Obama administration for Trump’s failed coronavirus response.
When Keilar interjected, Murtaugh tried to spew more lies by claiming that the U.S. leads the world in testing.
“Not per capita,” the CNN host interrupted.
Keilar continued to fact-check the Trump spokesman and he continued to say “hold on a second.”
“I can’t hold on a second when you’re not being honest,” Keilar shot back.
