Hillary Clinton didn’t hold back Thursday as she went toe-to-toe with MAGA lawmakers Nancy Mace and Lauren Boebert during a deposition over the Jeffrey Epstein files— and the resulting footage is pure chaos.
The House Oversight Committee released the video Monday, showing the 78-year-old former secretary of state losing her patience after Boebert, representing Colorado’s 4th district, allegedly leaked a photo of Clinton testifying to a MAGA influencer.
“I’m done with this!” Clinton barked, throwing her hands in the air. “You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home.”
The showdown had already been tense before the photo leak. It started when Mace tried to question Clinton about her connection to Donald Trump’s Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick. Clinton explained she knew Lutnick from her time as a U.S. senator from New York and her work rebuilding Manhattan after the 9/11 attacks.
“You asked the question, I’m gonna answer your question!” Clinton said as Mace interrupted.
“This was what I spent my time doing!” Clinton snapped, leaning across the table. “I was taking care of the people who lost 3,000 lives at [the] World Trade Center!”
Clinton highlighted her efforts securing over $20 billion in federal aid for rescue, recovery, and first responder health programs—a stark reminder of her track record amid the chaos of questioning.
The tension escalated when Mace tried to press Clinton on emails allegedly linking her to Epstein. “If you have an email with me asking Jeffrey Epstein for money…” Clinton challenged.
Mace, unable to produce any such emails, backed down, prompting Clinton to explain, “We worked together to rebuild downtown Manhattan; that is how I know Howard Lutnick.”
Then came Boebert, taking the questioning to an entirely different level. She invoked the infamous “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory, asking if Epstein files referenced a child sex trafficking ring supposedly run out of a D.C. pizzeria.
Clinton shook her head in disbelief. “Pizzagate was totally made up. It was an outrageous allegation that ended up hurting a number of people and even caused a deranged young man to show up with his assault rifle and shoot up a local pizzeria. I can’t believe you’re even referencing it.”
When Boebert pressed further, Clinton dismissed her questions entirely. “I don’t follow the crazy conspiracy stories that are online,” she said. “I really, I mean, I expected a lot of interesting questions today, but Pizzagate was not on my list.”
The deposition was part of a GOP-led effort to compel the Clintons to comply with subpoenas tied to the Oversight Committee’s Epstein investigation. Neither Hillary nor Bill Clinton has been accused of wrongdoing related to Epstein.
By the end, Hillary Clinton had dominated the room, leaving Mace and Boebert floundering—and the internet buzzing with clips of her scorching responses.
