Donald Trump tore into Harvard in a furious Truth Social post Thursday, calling the school “a threat to democracy” and accusing it of fueling hate and anti-American values after it refused to give in to his demands during a funding battle.

“Harvard is an Anti-Semitic, Far Left Institution,” Trump wrote. “With students being accepted from all over the World that want to rip our Country apart.”

“The place is a Liberal mess,” Trump said. “Allowing a certain group of crazed lunatics to enter and exit the classroom and spew fake ANGER AND HATE. It is truly horrific!”

Trump’s attack comes as Harvard fights back in court over a massive $2.2 billion cut in federal funding — a punishment from the Trump administration after the university refused to change its admissions and hiring practices. Trump wanted Harvard to scrap its diversity and inclusion programs, and when it didn’t, the backlash hit hard.

Trump also blasted the school for hiring attorney Bill Burck, who has ties to the Trump Organization.

“Harvard is a threat to Democracy, with a lawyer, who represents me, who should therefore be forced to resign, immediately, or be fired,” Trump raged. “He’s not that good, anyway, and I hope that my very big and beautiful company, now run by my sons, gets rid of him ASAP!”

And that’s exactly what happened.

Shortly after Trump’s post, the Trump Organization cut ties with Burck. “I view it as a conflict and I will be moving in a different direction,” Eric Trump said in a statement.

This war with Harvard isn’t new. Trump has already pushed to strip the school’s tax-exempt status and has used Homeland Security to threaten its ability to admit international students.

The latest clash came after Harvard President Alan Garber told NBC News, “We are defending what I believe is one of the most important lynchpins of the American economy and way of life: our universities.”
