In a blistering “Happy Memorial Day” message, former President Donald Trump unleashed a tirade against the judges and other “human scum” handling his legal battles.
Trump conveyed his controversial sentiments via a post on his Truth Social platform this Monday.
“Happy Memorial Day to All, including the Human Scum that is working so hard to destroy our Once Great Country, & to the Radical Left, Trump Hating Federal Judge in New York that presided over, get this, TWO separate trials, that awarded a woman, who I never met before (a quick handshake at a celebrity event, 25 years ago, doesn’t count!), 91 MILLION DOLLARS for ‘DEFAMATION,'” he wrote, alluding to the defamation cases brought by writer E. Jean Carroll.
Trump’s scathing message didn’t stop there. He lambasted Carroll for not reporting the alleged rape to the police and then turned his ire towards New York Judge Arthur Engoron, who oversaw Trump’s fraud trial in state court.
“Engoron fined me almost 500 Million Dollars (UNDER APPEAL) for DOING NOTHING WRONG,” Trump raged.
The former president concluded his incendiary post with a warning to Justice Juan Merchan, who is presiding over Trump’s hush money case.
“Now for Merchan!” he declared.
This follows a similar outburst from Trump on Easter, where he lambasted “crooked and corrupt prosecutors and judges that are doing everything possible to interfere with the presidential election of 2024, and put me in prison, including those many people that I completely & totally despise because they want to destroy America.”
