Trump defense attorney Michael van der Veen showed his frustration during Friday’s impeachment trial.
The Trump lawyer angrily reacted to a question about Israel during the question and answers period of Friday’s trial.
“Given the allegations of the House manager that President Trump has tolerated anti-semitic rhetoric, has there been a more pro-Israel president than President Trump?” the attorney was asked.
He replied “no” and went on to complain about the proceedings and Rep. Jaime Raskin (D-MD).
“There was nothing fun here, Mr. Raskin. We aren’t having fun here. This is about the most miserable experience I’ve had down here in Washington, DC. There’s nothing fun about it,” he said.
