The Lincoln Project, a group of current and former Republicans, have made headlines with recent ads attacking Donald Trump and urging voters to get him out of the White House come November.
Now, the group has decided to launch a campaign against Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
The ad calls McConnell “Rich Mitch,” contrasting his wealth with the financial hardships of Kentucky residents.
According to Lincoln Project co-founder Reed Galen, the ad is part of “the beginning of the story we’re telling about these senators, not the end of it.”
