Mayor Brandon Scott expressed his determination to hold those responsible accountable, stating, “I want those who are responsible to hear me, and hear me very clearly. We will not stop until we find you, and we will find you. Until then, I hope that every single breath you take, that you think about the lives that you took, think about the lives that you impacted here tonight.”

At present, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, prompting Mayor Scott to urge anyone with relevant information to step forward and assist investigators in identifying the “cowards” responsible for this act of violence.

Authorities emphasized that the crime scene was extensive, requiring an extensive investigation by detectives, which will take time to complete.

The incident comes as federal prosecutors in Baltimore have been highlighting their ongoing efforts to combat the city’s violent crime. Although this year’s reported number of homicides and shootings, approximately 130 and nearly 300, respectively, represents a decrease compared to the same period last year, according to authorities.
