LeBron James Breaks His Silence On Shooting Of Black Jogger: ‘We’re Literally Hunted Every Day’

NBA star LeBron James on Wednesday took to Twitter to express his outrage over the the shooting death of 25-year-old black man Ahmaud Arbery, saying African-Americans are “literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step foot outside the comfort of our homes!”

A disturbing video surfaced online this week showing Arbery jogging when he was suddenly chased down and killed by a white man named Travis McMichael, who has not been arrested or charged. The footage has prompted a nationwide call for justice.

LeBron joined the voices demanding justice Ahmaud, tweeting: “We’re literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step foot outside the comfort of our homes!” IN COLD BLOOD
“Can’t even go for a damn jog man! Like WTF man are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?!? No man fr ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!”

According to media reports, McMichael has not been arrested because he and his father claim they were attempting a citizen’s arrest … claiming Ahmaud fit the description of a suspect in a string of recent break-ins in the area.
