Vice President Harris’s campaign took a playful jab at former President Trump on Sunday following his public disdain for pop sensation Taylor Swift, which he shared on Truth Social.
“We’re pretty sure it’s Safe (& Sound) to say Donald Trump’s week has him Down Bad,” Harris’s campaign quipped in a statement posted by spokesperson Sarafina Chitika on the social platform X, cleverly weaving in titles of multiple Swift hits.
The statement continued with a lyrical nod: “Mr. Not-at-all Fine has spent this week working through his feelings, whining about his Champagne Problems, and spending exactly none of his time addressing the issues facing the American people.” The campaign added that Trump’s behavior has led many to question if “The Man” is “too emotional” to serve as president.
Trump’s outburst came after Swift endorsed Vice President Harris earlier in the week. In his Truth Social post, Trump expressed his disdain, saying, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” This followed Swift’s Instagram endorsement of Harris, where she praised the vice president as “a steady-handed, gifted leader” and expressed a desire for leadership that embodies calm over chaos.
Chitika’s statement further teased Trump’s woes: “Donald Trump’s week of whining and spouting conspiracy theories has voters on both sides of the aisle ready to Forget That He Existed.” The campaign emphasized the public’s desire to move past Trump’s divisive era and to “Begin Again” with Harris to secure a brighter future for America.
In response to Swift’s endorsement, Trump dismissed the singer’s influence during an interview on “Fox & Friends.” He remarked, “I was not a Taylor Swift fan,” and suggested her endorsement of Harris was predictable due to her liberal stance.

Trump’s campaign spokesperson, Steven Cheung, later shared a link to a “Trump War Room” post referencing an ABC News/Ipsos poll, which indicated that 6 percent of respondents felt Swift’s endorsement made them more likely to support Harris.
