Fox News host Laura Ingraham drew some backlash on Friday after comparing the coronavirus lockdowns across the United States to war in the Middle East.
Ingraham claimed that those who supported U.S. adventurism in the Middle East should similarly want to “liberate” states under coronavirus lockdowns.
She tweeted saying:
“How many of those who urged our govt to help liberate the Iraqis, Syrians, Kurds, Afghanis, etc., are as committed now to liberating Virginia, Minnesota, California, etc?”

Her comments were quickly condemned all over Twitter:
By the way, 81% of all Americans agree with these stay-at-home orders– so maybe Ingraham and her cohorts at Fox should pull their heads just a *little bit* out of Trump's ass and recognize that even their own viewers aren't on board with killing themselves to coddle Trump's ego. pic.twitter.com/uDkKteBvYG

I am gonna guess no one needs to liberate free people.

All these people who are clamoring to open up early probably have never worked in an “essential” job field.

Laura has obviously been hanging with Judge Box of Wine for the last several days.

How about Fox News liberates their offices for employees to come back during the pandemic first?

Laura, quick question: Do you actually believe this laughable horseshit that you tweet? Like, are you really so galactically dense that you don’t know the difference between a public-health emergency involving a virus that gives zero fucks about your politics & an armed conflict?

This is quite possibly the dumbest tweet I've seen this week and that's saying it a lot.

Lead the charge Laura! Get out there and lick some poles! Throw away all your hand soap and liberate your lungs!

Also: Trump literally praised Saddam's use of chemical weapons on civilians.
