Senator Chuck Grassley has tested positive for COVID-19 he announced Tuesday.
“This morning, I learned that I had been exposed to the coronavirus. I received a COVID-19 test and immediately began to quarantine. While I still feel fine, the test came back positive for the coronavirus,” the Iowa Republican tweeted.
Grassley, 87, and third in line to the presidency, added in a tweet that he was “feeling good” and would continue to comply with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
The announcement came less than a day after he disclosed that he was going to self-quarantine after being exposed to the virus.
