A Des Moines Trump supporter seen in the deadly riots at the U.S. Capitol has been arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail, authorities said.
Doug Jensen, 41, was arrested by the FBI in connection to Wednesday’s riot and is being held without bond, local station KCCI reported.
FBI officials told KCCI that Jensen faces the following charges:
Knowingly Entering or Remaining in any Restricted Building or Grounds Without Lawful Authority
Disrupting the Orderly Conduct of Government Business
Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building
Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building
Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer During a Civil Disorder
Des Moines police confirmed they assisted in arresting Jensen Friday night, and said he was taken into custody without incident.
