Donald Trump called for it and his supporters are delivering. The president has been pushing for over two months that the election was stolen from him and urged his supporters to help him do something about it. Today, Wednesday January 6, 2021, his supporters descended into chaos in Washington D.C.
Multiple scuffles between Trump supporters and D.C. police officers were captured on video when segments of the crowd attempted to breach the U.S. Capitol building.
You can see clips below. According to witnesses, Trump supporters are using “explosives” and attacking police officers to get through barriers.
The U.S. Capitol is on “full lockdown,” a guard tells me and @KevinFreyTV. He says officers have been injured, explosives have been used.
Others say they’re in “shelter in place” mode.
