Donald Trump told members of the press on Monday that he will take zero responsibility for people using household cleaning products to attempt to cure themselves of COVID-19.
Trump was asked if he felt that there was a connection between the spike in people who have reported poisonings from household cleaners, and his comments last week about injecting bleach into the bloodstream to cure coronavirus.
The president refused to take any responsibility for these incidents, repeatedly saying “I can’t imagine why” people would misuse cleaning products.
