On Monday, President Donald Trump lashed out at his former national security adviser, John Bolton, blasting him as a “wacko” and “incompetent” one day before Bolton’s book officially goes on sale.
In a raging tweet, Trump said, “I gave John Bolton, who was incapable of being Senate confirmed because he was considered a wacko, and was not liked, a chance. I always like hearing differing points of view.”
He added: “He turned out to be grossly incompetent, and a liar. See judge’s opinion. CLASSIFIED INFORMATION!!!”
Bolton’s book, which contains damning allegations about Trump, has sparked the ire of the president, who has attempted to block its release, but in doing so has elevated the former national security adviser’s book. It has been listed at No. 1 on the Amazon best-seller list for days leading up to its release on Tuesday.
A federal judge over the weekend denied a Trump administration request to block the book from being published on the grounds that it contained classified information.
U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth wrote in an order released Saturday that “while Bolton’s unilateral conduct raises grave national security concerns, the government has not established that an injunction is an appropriate remedy.”
Bolton wrote in his book that Trump is “stunningly uninformed” and is motivated by his personal and political interests over those of the country.

Trump’s tweet prompted an avalanche of negative responses. Check out some of the highlights below.
What we are learning today, but already knew, is… Trump hates for the truth about him to get out there and he doesn't want everyone to be able to vote because he knows he's going to get crushed this election.
Surely, he's the scandal of the times.

"Only The Best People Donald" is NOW saying he hired someone that was likely crazy as National Security Adviser because he thinks of his tenure as POTUS like an "Apprentice" episode…sure, Gary Busey is unhinged but let him run the taco cart for a few days, it'll be fine, right?

But … but … but … you said you hired the BEST men. You said it. Does this mean you didn't mean it? I'm devastated.

Why is everyone you hire "grossly incompetent?" I thought you only hire the "best people?"
