The Trump rioter seen smiling and waving at the camera while carrying the lectern of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during the violent takeover of the U.S. Capitol has been arrested, federal authorities said.

Adam Johnson, a 36-year-old man from Parrish, Florida, was jailed on a federal warrant Friday in Pinellas County, WGCU reported, citing police records.

A photo of Johnson, taken by Getty Images photographer Win McNamee, was one of many that went viral during the armed insurrection of the Capitol on Wednesday by supporters of President Donald Trump. The FBI searched for Johnson as part of a nationwide effort to find and charge those who stormed the building, according to the report.

The lectern and a gavel that was reported missing were recovered undamaged,  a spokesperson for the Committee on House Administration told The Washington Post.

President Trump on Wednesday led his supporters into a futile attempt to overturn the 2020 election in which President-elect Joe Biden won as Congress and Vice President Mike Pence and prepared to count Electoral College votes.

“If you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore,” he said prior to the riot at the Capitol. “Let the weak ones get out,” he continued. “This is a time for strength.”

Pence shortly thereafter issued a statement, breaking with Trump, saying he did not have the authority to reject any electoral votes.
