Donald Trump is asking his base for donations with a new message, this time the Trump campaign is attacking the pharmaceutical company Pfizer for not announcing their COVID-19 vaccine news until after the election.
According to the campaign, if the news of the vaccine would have been reported before November 3, then Trump would have won the election.
“Pfizer and the others probably didn’t have the courage to make this HISTORIC announcement before November 3rd, because they hoped it would keep me from WINNING BIG,” said the email. “The truth is, if Joe Biden were President, you wouldn’t have the vaccine for another four years, nor would the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have ever approved it so quickly. The bureaucracy would have destroyed millions of lives!”
Trump is trying to take credit for the Pfizer vaccine, even though the funding for the project did not come from his administration.
In his latest fundraising email, Donald Trump takes credit for the Pfizer vaccine, while accusing Pfizer of withholding news of it to hurt his election chances. (It did not.) And Trump accuses the "left" of stealing the election from him. It's all coming together. pic.twitter.com/aXrhKnzeLm
