Former Trump White House adviser Stephen Miller has faced a deluge of scorn following his explosive reaction to Governor Tim Walz’s introduction as Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate. Walz made a high-profile debut at a bustling rally in Philadelphia, drawing a crowd of approximately 12,000— the largest audience for either Harris or President Biden this election cycle.

At the rally, Walz used his platform to sharply criticize former President Donald Trump, framing the upcoming election as a pivotal choice for the country’s future. “This election is about the direction of our country. Donald Trump would undoubtedly drag us backward,” Walz asserted. He highlighted his personal journey from a Nebraska farm to military service, teaching, and Congress, while positioning himself as a fervent opponent of Trump.

Addressing a crowd of around 12,000, Walz didn’t shy away from sharp criticisms, accusing Trump of contributing to rising violent crime and making veiled references to Trump’s ongoing legal troubles. He also took a swipe at Trump’s running mate, Senator JD Vance, with a sarcastic remark about Vance’s reluctance to engage in debates, calling the pair “creepy” and “weird as hell.”

Miller’s reaction to Walz’s speech was intense and derogatory. Appearing on Fox News, Miller labeled Walz a “moron” and “incompetent,” and warned that his policies would turn the Midwest into a “third world state.”

“This man is a moron. He is an incompetent. He is a radical. And he is going to turn the entire Midwest into a third world state,” charged Miller.

Miller’s outburst sparked a wave of mockery and scorn on social media:

User @jayblack joked, “There’s no better way to get Stephen Miller angry than, uh… feeding kids? Did I read that right? Huh.” Another user, @zorekrichards, criticized Miller’s focus on personal attacks rather than policy, stating, “Never about policy. Always personal vitriol. Miller is one of the worst on that. Ingraham is his enabler.”

The derision continued with @ChidiNwatu expressing delight at Miller’s reaction: “I love that Miller is triggered.”

Similarly, @Rdsaucier remarked, “This is how we know it’s a good pick.” User @Double_Anarchy3 quipped, “Stephen Miller is out of his tomb. Must be a full moon.” Meanwhile, @tbonier pointed out the absurdity of Miller’s fear, noting, “Miller must have a pretty low opinion of the Midwest to believe that a ‘incompetent’ ‘radical’ ‘moron’ could singlehandedly destroy the entire region.”

Additional responses included @cagomez questioning whether Miller’s “third world state” comment was code for “healthcare and treating people with respect,” and @ToddUncommon suggesting, “Whatever gives Nosferatu fear needs to be supported with maximum effort.”

User @HaleyGirlWaGun observed, “MAGA is losing it across all platforms right now.” Finally, user @wiley_inc summed up the sentiment with, “Wow! Trumpsters are rattled.”
