Fox News hosts Maria Bartiromo and Judge Jeanine Pirro, along with former host Lou Dobbs, filed separate motions to dismiss a lawsuit from electronic voting systems maker Smartmatic against the conservative network.
Following Donald Trump’s humiliating election defeat, the network’s hosts accused Smartmatic of helping rig the U.S. presidential election in favor of Joe Biden.
The move by Bartiromo, Pirro, and Dobbs comes after “Lachlan Murdoch-led Fox Corp filed a motion to dismiss the Smartmatic lawsuit on Monday, stating that in its coverage it “fulfilled its commitment to inform fully and comment fairly,” Reuters reports.
