House investigators have obtained emails showing Virginia “Ginni” Thomas —the wife of conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas— pressuring Arizona lawmakers to reverse Joe Biden’s win in the state by setting aside the official slate of electors and put forth “a clean slate of Electors” to declare Trump the winner, The Washington Post reports.

According to The Post, Ginni Thomas sent the emails on Nov. 9, 2020, six days after the election. The newly revealed communications were sent to a pair of lawmakers, pressing them to work on Trump’s behalf.

“The explosive revelation adds a new layer of detail to previous reporting on Thomas’s efforts in the weeks after the 2020 election,” the report states.

Mrs. Thomas, who parroted Trump’s election lies and pushed a campaign to overturn the 2020 election results, admitted I’m March that she was present at the pro-Trump that preceded the Jan 6 insurrection. Now, the newly revealed correspndence adds another layer of detail to previous reporting on her involvement in the Jan 6 insurrection.

The Daily Boulder previously reported that Thomas strategized with Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows over how to bypass the will of American voters to install Trump for a second White House term despite his loss to Biden.

The new development is likely to reignite ethical questions over Justice Clarence Thomas, who has participated in at least nine rulings related to the 2020 election and who in three decades on the bench has never recused himself due to a conflict of interest resulting from his wife’s political activities.
