Republican congressman Doug Collins, of Georgia, was roundly trashed on Twitter on Saturday morning for attacking Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg after she passed away on Friday night from pancreatic cancer for her position on a woman’s rights.
Rep. Collins didn’t even make an effort to offer his condolences to the family of Ginsburg, and instead chose to smear the late justice, claiming that she is responsible for the “murder” of “30 million innocent babies.”
“RIP to the more than 30 million innocent babies that have been murdered during the decades that Ruth Bader Ginsburg defended pro-abortion laws,” Collins Tweeted just hours after Ginsburg’s death was announced. “With @realDonaldTrump nominating a replacement that values human life, generations of unborn children have a chance to live.”
Collins’ tweet was met with an avalanche of comments calling him out over his ugly accusation.

You forgot to mention that Bunker Boy never addressed the Russians placing bounties on our troops.

You and @realDonaldTrump and the GOP much prefer after-birth abortions: destroying sentient black, brown, poor, sick, elderly LGBTQ, Muslim, Atheist, immigrant human beings with families, feelings, livelihoods, and memories. After they're embryos, they're expendable to you. pic.twitter.com/kECwVn9M1W

As you are so pro-life what about all those vasectomy. All those babies lost because men have the snip. When are you going to tell men they can't kill all those sperms and they should look after all the babies they help produce. Like pay for them.

…so they can be either murdered later by over-zealous, biased law enforcement, killed slowly by inadequate or non existent healthcare, live in poverty as a worker-bee in an economy that devalues workers to enrich the wealthy. Yes, we know, #AllLivesMatter. Right.

You forgot to mention the millions of Americans who are unemployed right now and are struggling to support their families. You forgot to mention that the virus is still killing people. You forgot to mention that black people are being slaughtered in our streets.

Have to disagree here, Doug. NOBODY has the right to tell a woman what she can/cannot do with her body. I’m a pro-choice Conservative. A woman’s body is hers and hers alone.

Says an old white man who has no right to tell a woman what she can or cannot do with respect to her reproductive health. #TrumpSurrogate #TrumpSycophant #RoevsWade
