‘I Want to Know Why’: Giuliani Rants FBI Won’t Call Him Back to Explain ‘What’s Going On’

Former New York City mayor and longtime Trump ally Rudy Giuliani tore into the FBI and key figures in the Justice Department during a fiery appearance on Eric Bolling’s show on X. Giuliani, visibly frustrated, said he’s been trying to get answers about decisions made at the FBI — but no one’s returning his calls.

“I want to know why,” Giuliani said. “They say there’s an explanation for it. It better be damn good.”

Despite previously praising the Justice Department under Trump, Giuliani now says something’s not right. He specifically called out Kash Patel and Pam Bondi — both Trump insiders — for promoting someone he believes shouldn’t be anywhere near power.

“They’ve taken one of the people that was running the unit going after Catholics in the Justice Department, and also going after J6 people, and put them in charge of the Washington office of the FBI,” Giuliani claimed. “And I tried to reach them today. They didn’t call me back.”

The conversation kicked off when Bolling brought up Giuliani’s legal troubles — including the civil case where he was found liable for defaming two Georgia election workers. Bolling expressed shock at the penalties Giuliani faced, saying, “They finally backed off and said you can keep your Manhattan apartment, you can keep your World Series rings… it was insane what they were doing to you.”

Giuliani said he’s taken plenty of hits — but pointed out that his allies, like Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon, have had it worse.

“I get a lot of sympathy and a lot of support, and there’s no question I was beaten up pretty bad. But my friends, Steve and Peter Navarro, much worse being put in jail. I mean, four months in jail? How about putting leg irons on Peter Navarro?” Giuliani said.

“I must have arrested 5,000 people. I probably used leg iron once or twice. I can’t even recall it. It’d would probably have to have been a five times murder. That was just done because the FBI is crooked.”

When asked whether he still supports Patel and Bondi, Giuliani said he’s reserving judgment — for now.

“I, up until now, I was over the top enthusiastic, particularly by the Justice Department,” he said. “Wow, the Justice Department did a great job. So I’m going to assume there’s a reason for this that I don’t know.”
