In a stunning allegation that’s likely to intensify already simmering controversy, former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene claims Donald Trump personally intervened to block the release of documents tied to convicted sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Speaking on “The Shannon Joy Show,” Greene said Trump didn’t just quietly discourage transparency—he actively shut it down across his administration.

“He flat out told Pam Bondi, ‘Do not release the Epstein files,’” Greene said. “He was blocking everybody.”

According to Greene, the effort went far beyond the Justice Department. She alleged the White House pressured top Republican leaders, including House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, to halt any push for public disclosure.

The claims mark a dramatic escalation in Greene’s ongoing feud with Trump, who once counted her among his most loyal allies but later turned on her after she demanded full transparency in the Epstein case—at one point even calling her a “traitor.”

Epstein, who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, has long been at the center of speculation due to his connections with powerful figures. Promises to release more information about his network have repeatedly fallen short, fueling bipartisan frustration.

Greene now says she knows why.

“He kept saying, ‘People are going to get hurt,’” she recalled, describing what she says were Trump’s private warnings even as he publicly dismissed the Epstein controversy as a political “hoax.”

The former congresswoman also revealed that during a final, heated exchange, Trump made the stakes personal.

“He told me, ‘My friends will get hurt… people at Mar-a-Lago,’” Greene said—referring to Trump’s Florida estate.

Despite once believing Epstein’s circle primarily implicated Democrats, Greene said she was blindsided when Trump “flat-out refused” to support releasing the files, even as victims continued to demand accountability.

Now, with subpoenas, unanswered questions, and mounting political fallout, Greene’s accusations are adding fuel to a fire that shows no signs of dying down.
