MTG declares war on Trump, plots rival conservative party after calling him a ‘traitor’

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s messy breakup with Donald Trump may be turning into something much bigger.

The former MAGA firebrand says she’s now seriously exploring the creation of a brand-new political party, one she hopes could pull support from disenchanted Republicans and shake up the country’s two-party system.

Speaking Tuesday on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Greene revealed she’s already holding “serious conversations” with potential allies and believes the time may be right to launch what she called a “true America-focused party.”

“I think there’s a group of us that if we decide to align, we could launch a true America-focused party that doesn’t fall into the traps of Democrats or Republicans,” Greene said.

According to Greene, the effort is still in its early stages, but she insisted she’s already talking with people behind the scenes about making it a reality.

In the same segment, Greene accused Trump of being a “traitor” who is working on behalf of Israel rather than the American people. She blasted his decision to launch military strikes against Iran, claiming the war was fought to benefit Israel and arguing that Washington is bankrupting the country to serve a foreign government instead of putting Americans first.

Greene also accused Trump of taking his cues from pro-Israel conservative voices, singling out Mark Levin as one of the figures she claimed had pushed the president toward war. Greene said Trump’s actions amount to a betrayal of the “America First” agenda that helped propel him back to the White House.

The White House wasted no time firing back.

Asked about Greene’s comments, spokesperson Davis Ingle dismissed the former congresswoman as a “quitter,” accusing her of abandoning both her constituents and the MAGA movement while Trump continues to lead the Republican Party.

The feud marks a stunning turnaround for Greene, who spent years as one of Trump’s loudest and most loyal defenders before their alliance spectacularly collapsed.

The breaking point came over the Jeffrey Epstein files. Greene broke ranks with Trump by backing legislation aimed at increasing transparency surrounding the files, triggering a public falling-out that ultimately led to her resignation from Congress earlier this year.

Since then, Greene hasn’t held back.

She’s accused Trump of betraying the voters who helped put him back in power, declared that the MAGA movement was “all a lie,” blasted his handling of the economy and his Iran policy, and even argued that today’s Republican Party deserves to be “burned to the ground.”

In one television appearance, she went so far as to label Trump a “traitor”—a remarkable accusation from someone who was once among his fiercest defenders.

Greene admits creating a viable third party won’t happen overnight.

“It’s difficult to launch a third party,” she acknowledged, adding that it would likely take multiple election cycles before such an effort could become competitive.

But she already has one high-profile conservative in mind.

Greene praised Tucker Carlson after the former Fox News host recently declared he no longer plans to support the Republican Party in the upcoming midterms.

“Tucker is not the only one who is done supporting the Republican Party,” Greene wrote on social media, arguing that millions of politically homeless voters are looking for an alternative.

She also suggested Carlson could become a major force in any new movement, saying he has the potential to attract independents, Republicans, and Democrats alike.

Whether Greene’s proposed party ever gets off the ground remains to be seen.
