Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera is calling out Donald Trump in a big way, accusing him of caving to hardline aides and questioning whether the president is even in charge anymore.

After a confusing reversal on immigration raids, Rivera ripped Trump on social media and aimed his fire directly at longtime Trump adviser Stephen Miller.

“Come on Mr. President, you’re the one the American people elected, not Stephen Miller,” Rivera wrote. “He doesn’t have a compassionate bone in his body. The problem of immigration can’t be solved with hate.”

The backlash came after The Washington Post reported that the Biden-era pause on ICE worksite raids had been scrapped, and the Trump campaign now supports bringing them back. That means ICE agents could resume raids on farms, hotels, and construction sites across the country.

A Homeland Security spokesperson confirmed the shift.

“Worksite enforcement remains a cornerstone of our efforts to safeguard public safety, national security and economic stability,” said Tricia McLaughlin. “These operations target illegal employment networks that undermine American workers, destabilize labor markets and expose critical infrastructure to exploitation.”

The about-face caught some off guard — especially since Trump had just acknowledged that his immigration policies were hurting U.S. businesses.

“Our great Farmers and people in the Hotel and Leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very good, long time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible to replace,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “We must protect our Farmers, but get the CRIMINALS OUT OF THE USA. Changes are coming!”

Rivera wasn’t having it.

“Many American businesses are also going to be profoundly harmed by this regressive policy,” he said in response to California Governor Gavin Newsom, who blamed the decision on Stephen Miller — calling him “the boss, after all.”

Rivera, who once had a close friendship with Trump, continued: “Deeply disappointed by the President’s abrupt reversal on calling off ICE immigration raids on farming, and hotel workers. Who the hell is in charge in the White House? Donald Trump or Stephen Draco Miller? He may seem a cartoon character, but he is hurting real people.”

Rivera’s public break with Trump has been building for years — especially after Trump pushed lies about the 2020 election and Rivera refused to back them. Now, he’s making it clear: if Trump can’t stand up to his own advisors, he shouldn’t be in the Oval Office.
