A Mississippi woman has been arrested after allegedly shooting and killing her husband during an argument over a social media friend request.
Rashaan Wallace, 30, was charged with the murder of 33-year-old Damion Reed, who was pronounced dead at their home on Brookhollow Drive on the morning of February 23.
According to investigators, the argument began when Reed became upset over a friend request Wallace had sent on social media. As the argument escalated, Reed reportedly approached his wife, and she fired a warning shot with a gun.
When Reed allegedly refused to back down, Wallace then shot and killed him, detectives said.
Wallace, a licensed practical nurse, attempted to perform CPR on her husband and called 911 for help. She is currently being held at the Hinds County Detention Center and her bond was set at $50,000.
