A self-described “ultra-MAGA” Trump supporter has been arrested in Arkansas after authorities accused him of uploading 44 videos of child sexual abuse material to a Google account.
Gregory Daffron of Jonesboro was arrested Sept. 22 following an investigation that began with a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to the Jonesboro Police Department.
Police said they were alerted in early September that child sexual abuse material had been uploaded to a Google account.
Investigators then followed the digital trail.
Google provided authorities with an IP address associated with the account, which eventually led investigators to a home on Harrisburg Road associated with the Daffron family.
Authorities say further investigation identified Gregory Daffron as a person of interest after investigators found that his date of birth matched information connected to the “Honey Badger” account that allegedly uploaded the 44 videos.
Daffron was subsequently arrested.
According to police, Daffron openly described himself as “ultra-MAGA” and an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump.
Daffron appeared before a judge, who set his bond at $250,000 and ordered that he have no access to the internet.
