In a fiery rally in Michigan, Donald Trump took a swipe at pop icon Beyoncé, following her recent endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris. The former president claimed that Beyoncé’s recent rally couldn’t fill the arena while asserting that he could sell it out three times.
During the event, Trump shifted his focus from Nancy Pelosi to the Grammy-winning singer, who had shown her support for Harris at a rally in Houston.
“You know, last night my opponent had one of these. And they bussed in people, but you know, they got Beyoncé—and you know Beyoncé—Beyoncé, ugh. They got Beyoncé,” he told the crowd, dismissing her appeal.
“This crowd is packed. I could sell it out three times,” he continued. “And we don’t have Beyoncé who couldn’t fill the arena last night. But the people went there because they thought they were going to hear Beyonce sing. Right? Beyonce got out and said, Hello, ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to endorse her. What’s her name? What’s her name? What is her name again? Oh, I’m going to endorse her. Oh, they just don’t get it.”
“So what happened as the crowd came, because they thought she was going to sing that she turned around, she left, and Kamala start speaking, and it was a disaster. Left everybody. We don’t need anybody,” he asserted.
The comments quickly sparked reactions on social media, with many describing Trump’s outburst as “unhinged” (see it below).

Just hours earlier, Beyoncé had urged Texans to vote, emphasizing the importance of unity and empowerment.
to vote for “a woman who’s been pushing for what this country really needs right now—unity.”
In her heartfelt speech, she said, “I’m here as a mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in.” She highlighted the significance of voting, stating, “Your voice has power and magnitude. Your vote is one of the most valuable tools, and we need you.”

This isn’t the first time Trump has taken a swipe at celebrities backing his opponents. Last month, he responded to Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Harris with a blunt declaration on Truth Social: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
