Lauren Boebert claims that she is receiving divine guidance to pursue the impeachment of President Biden. In an interview on the Victory Channel’s Flashpoint program, the Republican representative from Colorado expressed that she was motivated by the “spirit of God” to draft articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
The interview, first reported by Right Wing Watch, took place shortly after she introduced her impeachment initiative.
Invoking her faith, Boebert attributed her actions to the grace and empowerment bestowed upon her by God. She emphasized the importance of remaining grounded and rooted in the Word of God, highlighting the connection between the heart’s abundance and the spoken word.
Boebert further asserted that she is guided and directed by God Himself. Despite facing pressure not to proceed with the introduction and voting on the articles of impeachment, she remained resolute in her conviction to pursue this course of action.
“All glory to God,” Boebert said. “This is grace. This is God’s empowerment and His ability and staying grounded, rooted in the Word of God, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.”
“And I am directed and led by Him,” she claimed. “You know, there was pressure for me not to introduce the articles of impeachment tonight, well, not introduce them, but to bring them up and call them for a vote.”
