Former president Donald Trump has taken to Truth Social to blast the Manhattan Criminal Court as a “kangaroo court”, just before his arraignment and arrest on Tuesday, demanding that the proceedings be moved to more Trump-friendly Staten Island instead.
He also attacked his own former attorney general Bill Barr, calling him a “complete coward” for appearing on Fox News to discuss his case.
Trump said Barr was so “absolutely petrified” of impeachment that he became a “slave” to Democrats in his latest all-caps fit of keyboard rage.
“WHY DOES FOX KEEP PUTTING ON BILL BARR,” Trump whined. “AS ATTORNEY GENERAL HE WAS A COMPLETE COWARD WHO WAS ABSOLUTELY PETRIFIED OF BEING IMPEACHED, WHICH THE DEMOCRATS THREATENED TO DO UNTIL HE BECAME THEIR VIRTUAL “SLAVE” AND REFUSED TO INVESTIGATE AND PROSECUTE THE MASSIVE ELECTION FRAUD THAT TOOK PLACE IN THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, BY FAR THE RADICAL LEFT’S GREATEST CONCERN. HE SAID HE DID INVESTIGATE, BUT HE DIDN’T HAVE THE “GUTS” TO PROPERLY DO SO, AND NOW WE HAVE A NATION IN MASSIVE DECLINE!”
In a second post, he added: “WHEN YOU SEE RINO’S KARL ROVE, BILL BARR, OR PAUL RYAN ON YOUR TELEVISION SCREEN, JUST TURN TO A DIFFERENT STATION, OR TURN OFF YOUR SET. YOU’RE BETTER OFF WATCHING THE DEMOCRATS!
Trump’s tirade comes as protesters and counter-demonstrators clashed outside the Manhattan Criminal Court and police officers scrambled to keep the two sides apart.
