The prospect of a Joe Biden comeback is apparently causing distress for Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy, who on Sunday expressed her frustration with the president’s approval numbers “inching up” amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

During a segment on the Ukraine crisis, Campos-Duffy lashed out at Democrats for noticing that Biden’s poll numbers are on the rise as he handles the war in Ukraine, arguing that we could have avoided having a “wartime president” if Biden had deployed more military resources to Ukraine before the conflict began.

“Why didn’t you act sooner?” she said in the segment highlighted by Raw Story. “I say that because Democrats right now are very ecstatic over what they see as poll numbers inching up for Joe Biden.”

She then slammed CNN columnist Chris Cillizza for reporting that “now there is an opportunity for a Biden comeback.

“They are looking at it as a political opportunity to somehow show this wartime president. We didn’t need a wartime president. We got one because he was so weak!” she ranted.

“I’m sorry. I know you guys are focusing on all the troop movements. I’m just so mad that we’re in this situation!”
