Right-wing comedian Rob Schneider ignited a firestorm of condemnation after insinuating that NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo’s death from brain cancer at age 58 was linked to the COVID-19 vaccine.
In a shocking display of callousness, Schneider shared a video of Mutombo advocating for vaccination during the pandemic, captioning it, “Rest in Peace … I’m sure this just (another) coincidence.” He then boasted about avoiding the vaccine and urged others to do the same.
The backlash was immediate and intense, with critics labeling Schneider a “socially awkward politically driven attention whore.”
Responses ranged from disbelief to anger, highlighting the insensitivity of his remarks.
“No wonder your own child thinks you’re a fucking lowlife failure,” one user commented.
“You’re vile. He had cancer,” another shot back.
“How have you not deleted this you unloved cunt,” another user wrote.

Watching you go from a joyful artist in Happy Madison films to a tasteless, socially awkward politically driven attention whore on the day of an honorable man’s death has been thoroughly disappointing.
Grow up. You can do it.
