Donald Trump is once again under fire—this time for spreading an outlandish conspiracy theory claiming President Joe Biden was “executed in 2020” and replaced by a series of clones.
On Saturday night, Trump reposted the wild claim on Truth Social, boosting a message from a pro-MAGA account that read:
“There is no #JoeBiden – executed in 2020. #Biden clones doubles & robotic engineered soulless mindless entities are what you see. >#Democrats dont know the difference.”
The post was littered with hashtags and completely baseless—but Trump shared it anyway.
The same account has a history of promoting falsehoods, including long-debunked lies about the 2020 election being stolen through “cyber warfare.”

Trump ally and far-right conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer reacted with a laughing emoji. But many Americans weren’t laughing. They were alarmed.

“Trump believes anything that attacks his perceived enemies and makes him feel better,” one person commented.

“If Biden had said something like this, his entire cabinet would have invoked the 25th within the hour, and rightfully so,” another user said, referring to the constitutional amendment used to remove a president deemed “unfit to serve.”

Another user summed up the mood: “This is such a degradation of America.”

The backlash highlights a growing concern that Trump continues to embrace delusional ideas that undermine trust in democracy—and that many see as evidence he’s not mentally or morally fit to be president.
