Supporters of Donald Trump took to social media in rage on Monday after learning that Attorney General William Barr does not believe former President Barack Obama will be facing any criminal charges after allegedly spying on Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016.
Barr announced on Monday that some criminal prosecutions related to the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s multiple contacts with Russian agents could happen – but doesn’t believe Obama or former Vice President Joe Biden will face any of those charges.
This announcement struck a nerve with Trump supporters who took to Twitter to express their rage, some of them even attacking Barr.
