Donald Trump claimed on Wednesday that a vaccine for COVID-19 will likely not be needed because the virus will disappear out of the blue.
Trump said during a press conference about the virus, “It’s gonna go. It’s gonna leave. It’s gonna be gone.”
“Why do you think without a vaccine, the virus would be gone?” asked the reporter.
Instead of giving an actual answer, Trump repeated his statement.
“It’ll be eradicated,” he said, refusing to answer how that would happen.
Trump didn’t offer any evidence on how he thinks the virus will magically disappear.
