Donald Trump shared a video of himself on Twitter on Wednesday, claiming that he was “cured” from COVID-19 and that all Americans should have access to the care he was able to get.

“It was unbelievable,” Trump, who appeared to be wearing heavy make-up, said, adding that he “felt good immediately,” referring to the experimental drug from the drugmaker Regeneron.

Trump said he knows people call these drug “therapeutics” — “But to me, they just made me better, okay? I call that a cure,” adding that the experimental drugs are “much more important than a vaccine.”

“And we’re gonna have a great vaccine very shortly,” he continued. “I think we should have it before the election, but frankly the politics gets involved and that’s okay — they want to play their games — it’s gonna be right after the election, but we did it. Nobody else would have been able to do it.”

“I want everybody to be given the same treatment as your president,” Trump said. “Because I feel great — I feel, like, perfect. So, I think this was a blessing from God that I caught [the virus]. This was a blessing in disguise.”
