Former President Trump unleashed a blistering attack on GOP rival Nikki Haley, issuing a direct threat that donors to her campaign would be permanently ousted from the MAGA camp.
In a no-holds-barred statement on Truth Social, Trump severed ties with political convention, declaring that those contributing to Haley, whom he derisively labeled “Birdbrain,” would find no place in the MAGA movement. He asserted an unwavering commitment to putting America first and vowed rejection of Haley’s supporters.
“When I ran for Office and won, I noticed that the losing Candidate’s ‘Donors’ would immediately come to me, and want to ‘help out.’ This is standard in Politics, but no longer with me,” Trump wrote.
He added: “Anybody that makes a ‘Contribution’ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp. We don’t want them, and will not accept them, because we Put America First, and ALWAYS WILL!”
This aggressive move signals a new level of rhetoric as Trump aims to solidify GOP support. Despite a decisive victory in the New Hampshire primary, Trump mocked Haley’s positive tone on election night and pressured her to suspend her campaign.
In recent weeks, Trump has secured significant endorsements, including from lawmakers who once criticized him. Senators Marco Rubio, John Cornyn, and Deb Fischer, along with former rivals Ron DeSantis, Tim Scott, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Doug Burgum, have all rallied behind Trump.
