Donald Trump is being blasted online after calling former President Obama “grossly incompetent” after he was asked on Sunday about comments made by Obama during a nationally televised address to graduating seniors the previous night. Without mentioning Trump, Obama told the audience that there are members of the administration who aren’t even trying to solve the coronavirus pandemic.
“Look, he was an incompetent president, that’s all I can say. Grossly incompetent,” Trump told reporters Sunday outside the White House.
He said he had not seen Obama’s remarks. He also did not expand on his comments about the former president.
Few on Twitter agreed, with many saying Trump has a bad case of “projection.”
