According to Donald Trump, Democrats are “moving slowly” to open the country back up just to hurt him politically.
On Monday, Trump completely ignored the fact that over 80,000 people have died from COVID-19 and decided to launch a tweet accusing Democrats of “playing politics” by not opening the country back up fast enough.
Trump tweeted the following:
“The great people of Pennsylvania want their freedom now, and they are fully aware of what that entails. The Democrats are moving slowly, all over the USA, for political purposes. They would wait until November 3rd if it were up to them. Don’t play politics. Be safe, move quickly!”

“Be safe, move quickly?” We’re not sure what Trump meant by that. Moving quickly to open up a country in the middle of a pandemic doesn’t sound safe, at all.
As some people noted, Democrats are just trying to keep people safe.
If not for Democrats being cautious, those COVID-19 deaths would be much higher. You need to STFU.
