The drama between Elon Musk and MAGA influencer Ashley St. Clair is heating up as she called out the tech billionaire for promoting “smears” instead of addressing her claims directly.

St. Clair, 26, made headlines last week when she revealed she had a five-month-old child with Musk, his 13th. The claim quickly caught attention, but Musk has yet to give a direct response to St. Clair. Instead, he focused on other issues on social media, ranging from his thoughts on video games to government efficiency, and even shared posts from The Babylon Bee, a satirical site where St. Clair used to write.

On Saturday, Musk responded to a post from a user who shared an old tweet from St. Clair, joking that she wanted a marriage proposal from him. The user suggested that St. Clair had been planning to “ensnare Elon Musk” for years. Musk replied with just one word: “Whoa.”

St. Clair was quick to respond, accusing Musk of handling the situation by focusing on “smears” instead of engaging with her directly. In a now-deleted tweet, she wrote, “Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days, and you have not responded. When are you going to reply to us instead of publicly responding to smears from an individual who just posted photos of me in underwear at 15 years old?”

She didn’t stop there. St. Clair also claimed Musk privately acknowledged her accusations after a phone call “months ago.”

Her representative, Brian Glicklich, shared a statement saying they are “waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashley.”

St. Clair revealed the paternity claim last week after tabloid media began pressuring her for details. She tweeted: “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”

While St. Clair didn’t specify which media outlet was pushing the story, she hasn’t provided evidence that the child exists.

In a New York Post interview, St. Clair gave more insight into her relationship with Musk and the pregnancy. She said she was instructed to keep everything secret, even while pregnant. “I was completely isolated,” she explained. “Every part of my career and everything I used to do I couldn’t do anymore. I was told not to tell anybody.”

Text messages between St. Clair and Musk’s money manager, Jared Birchall, show that she agreed to keep Musk’s name off the birth certificate.

Despite the secrecy, St. Clair said her first impression of Musk was positive. “He was very funny. He was smart. He was very down to earth,” she recalled.

St. Clair said Musk first reached out to her via direct message on X in May 2023. She then flew to San Francisco to meet him at X’s headquarters, and their relationship reportedly grew from there until she became pregnant.
