A leading Trump super PAC has launched a blistering new ad targeting Vice President Kamala Harris just moments after President Joe Biden announced his endorsement of her candidacy for president.
Within minutes of Biden’s declaration, MAGA Inc. unveiled a hard-hitting advertisement set to saturate battleground states. The ad takes aim at Harris, accusing her of complicity in Biden’s purported “mental decline.”
“Kamala was in on it. She covered up Joe’s obvious mental decline,” the ad asserts, quoting Harris’s past remarks minimizing concerns about Biden’s health.
The ad continues attacking Harris’s tenure, blaming her for a range of issues including border security failures and economic challenges.
“Kamala knew Joe couldn’t do the job, so she did it. Look what she got done: a border invasion, runaway inflation, the American Dream dead,” the ad declares, pointing to Harris’s work on the border. “They created this mess. They know Kamala owns this failed record.”
Scheduled for immediate release in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Arizona, the ad campaign is part of a substantial $5 million-per-week initiative by the group.
Biden made his announcement through a social media post, endorsing Harris as the Democratic nominee following his decision to step back from the presidential ticket. “Selecting Kamala Harris as my Vice President was my first and best decision,” Biden stated. “Now, I fully support her to lead our party this year.”
“Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this,” he added.
