On Friday, Republican Rep. Jim Jordan, of Ohio, was labeled a “political terrorist” by a top former Republican from his home state.
The label was slapped on Jordan by former Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) during an interview with John Dickerson that will air on “CBS Sunday Morning” this weekend.
“You call some of these members ‘political terrorists,'” Dickerson noted.
“Oh, yeah, Jim Jordan especially, my colleague from Ohio. I just never saw a guy who spent more time tearing things apart – never building anything, never putting anything together,” Boehner replied before offering additional commentary on Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).
“I don’t beat anybody up, it’s – not really my style, except that jerk. … Perfect symbol, you know, of getting elected, make a lotta noise, draw a lot of attention to yourself, raise a lot of money, which means you’re gonna go make more noise, raise more money, and – it’s really, it’s unfortunate,” he said.
