President Donald Trump launched into a late-night tirade on Truth Social, portraying himself as the victim of a vast political conspiracy and insisting he is “an innocent man who has been horribly treated” while demanding that prosecutors who investigated him face criminal punishment.
In a lengthy midnight post, Trump called for New York criminal and civil cases against him to be thrown out and accused Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and New York Attorney General Letitia James of engaging in what he described as “Radical Left Lawfare” and “Political Witch Hunts.”
The president’s latest grievance-filled outburst centered on comments made by his former attorney and fixer, Michael Cohen, who recently claimed he felt “pressured and coerced” by prosecutors during investigations into Trump.
Trump seized on those remarks as proof that the cases against him were illegitimate, despite the fact that multiple investigations involved extensive documentary evidence and witness testimony beyond Cohen’s statements.
“When a Star Witness totally recants,” Trump wrote, “how can that Case not be immediately dismissed?”
The president argued that Cohen’s comments had effectively erased the foundation of both the Manhattan criminal case and the New York civil fraud case, declaring the prosecutions a “Political Charade” that should be “dismissed, once and for all.”
Trump also demanded legal consequences for the prosecutors who pursued the cases.
“Our Constitution, and the Rule of Law, demand immediate and swift dismissal,” he wrote, “as well as for the Perpetrators of the Radical Left Lawfare and Weaponization to be held criminally responsible for their terrible misdeeds.”
The post culminated in a familiar Trump refrain: casting himself as the wronged party despite facing years of investigations, multiple indictments, and court judgments.
“I am an innocent man who has been horribly treated,” Trump declared. “Hopefully the Courts will do what everyone knows should be done.”

The overnight message adds to a long-running pattern in which Trump responds to legal troubles with public attacks on prosecutors, judges, and investigators while portraying himself as the victim of political persecution.
