It took Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) more than a month to admit that Joe Biden won the election. During the last month, supporters of Donald Trump had praised the Republican leader for not accepting the election results. Now, those same Trump supporters are calling McConnell “the deep state” for finally admitting that Biden won the election.
It was only after all Electoral College votes were submitted when McConnell decided to congratulate Biden on winning the election.

The news didn’t sit well with Trump supporters, many of which took to Twitter to attack the Kentucky Republican.
