Donald Trump Jr. is being dragged on social media for posting a ranting video about teachers’ unions “failing students” by not forcing members to put their lives at risk during the COVID-19 pandemic as he stood before a wall displaying guns.
The former president’s son started by repeating “follow the science follow the science,” as part of an attack on President Joe Biden’s attempt to clean up the COVID-19 mess left by his father, Donald J. Trump. he then pivoted to attack teachers and their unions.
But it was the wall of guns in the background that caught the attention of Twitter users who were quick to call out Trump Jr. for his background choice, reminiscent of QAnon Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) who appeared on video speaking with weapons haphazardly piled up behind her.
Check some of the reactions below:
He doesn’t look well.

Apparently to that criminal terrorist family it's perfectly normal to discuss covid and schools in front of a wall of guns

Are they all going to be posting videos with their guns in the background now? FFS

Serious question. What is Don Jr.'s job exactly?
— Mad World (@MadddWWWorld) February 21, 2021
Disturbing that he poses with guns while chastising teachers. Public schools have had their share of gun violence. Jr adds a perception of additional violence on top of the covid 19 challenges schools face. His children are safe. Ours should be as well.

Just the fact that he needs to stand in front of those guns is a call to violence using his dad’s nonverbal way. These ppl aren’t going to stop. Trump started this violent moment. Jr looks higher than a kite. @LeaderMcConnell let this keep going not convicting trump

I don't understand why he is talking about teacher's unions while showing guns in the background.
