Rep. Heather Scott (R-ID) is siding with right-wing protestors that are urging governors to open businesses back up, despite being in the middle of a pandemic.
According to Scott, taking the precautionary measurements to make sure people don’t spread the virus makes one a Nazi.
Scott said during a podcast last week that Idaho Gov. Brad Little is “little Hitler” for focusing on the safety of people over the economy.
“I mean, that’s no different than Nazi Germany where you had government telling people either you were an essential worker or a non-essential worker, and non-essential workers got put on a train,” she said.
“You can’t take away people’s lives and property without compensation, and that’s exactly what [Brad Little] would be doing. I mean, they are already calling him little Hitler — Gov. Little Hitler,” she added.
