Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is being roasted online for threatening to go after Major League Baseball after the organization decided to pull the 2021 MLB All-Star Game out of Atlanta in response to a voter suppression bill passed by the Republican legislature aimed at tamping down Black voters.
Cruz fired off a tweet demanding his followers to boycott MLB’s sponsors before later saying he and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) were going to try and strip professional baseball’s anti-trust exemption away.
Twitter users quickly burst his bubble by reminding him that he has no power as Democrats now control the Senate. Check some of the responses below.
You don't have control of Congress so this tweet is as meaningless as all your and Mike's silly photo-ops at the border, Ted.

Go get your flashlight Ted and go back out into the bushes. Fighting non-existing crime or hostile cactuses – whatever you were doing out there.

Hey Ted–
MLB has every right to move any game wherever the hell they want to without the federal government butting in– that's laissez-faire capitalism — check your "GOP" handbook… sounds like you think you're in China

What part of "The People have the Right To Vote" do you not understand Senator? What part of "not allowing water or food given to people in a LONG line being illegal now in Georgia" do you think is Good? How is any form of voter suppression allowed? By The way Worry about Texas.
