There are dumb criminals, and then there’s Christopher Spaulding, of Rockdale, Georgia, who was arrested after expressing his disappointment over being left out of his county’s most wanted list.
Earlier this week, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office posted a list of their ten “most wanted” violent offenders on social media.
Just a few hours after the post was published, Spaulding entered the comment section to question why he wasn’t among the most wanted people in his county.
“How about me?” he asked.
According to local station WSBTV News, the sheriff’s office replied to Spaulding’s comment saying, “You are correct you have two warrants, we are on the way.”
The station also reported that the sheriff’s office followed up with another post showing Spaulding being arrested.
Deputies explained that Spaulding didn’t make the most wanted list because it is based on the severity of charges, meaning it typically includes those with violent crimes like murder, rape, aggravated assault and more.
Spaulding is currently being held on two charges of felony probation violation.
