Fox News, one of Donald Trump’s favorite news networks, shared a photo over the weekend of Jeffrey Epstein and his girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell alongside Melania Trump – but they did leave out one person from the photo: Donald Trump himself.
On Monday, a Fox News spokesperson in a statement Trump was ”mistakenly eliminated” from the photo and that the network regrets “the error.”
It has been well-documented that Trump and Epstein had a very good friendship while Epstein was sex-trafficking young girls.
Fox News’ photo came as they were reporting the arrest of Maxwell, who also took part in the sex trafficking scandal.
As Huffington Post reports, “Epstein and Maxwell for years moved in the same New York social circles as Trump, who called Epstein a ‘fun’ and ‘terrific guy’ in a now-infamous New York magazine interview in 2002.”
“It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side,” Trump also said at the time.
