During President Donald Trump’s speech at the White House on Wednesday, Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN all broadcasted a speech from presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
While Trump was announcing his plan to address veteran suicides, Biden was giving a speech in Pennsylvania attacking the president’s coronavirus response.
After showing the beginning of the president’s discussion, Fox News host Dana Perino turned to an interview with Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. The network then cut away to Biden’s remarks.
“Donald Trump’s failure to fight the coronavirus with the same energy and focus that he used to troll his enemies on Twitter has cost us lives, and is putting hope for an economic recovery at risk,” Biden said. “Mr. President, wake up. Get to work.”
CNN and MSNBC also showed Biden’s speech rather than Trump’s.
